First scenario: Operators must be aware that the allowable wear value of the plate chain is limited. Generally, it should not exceed ten percent of the diameter of the round chain rod.
Second scenario: The extent of distortion in the main ring of the plate chain should be examined. If the distortion exceeds 10 degrees, the chain is considered scrapped. This measurement should be taken from the unbent plane of the main ring.
Third scenario: Over time, the lifting chain of the plate conveyor may develop cracks, bends, or other defects. If these issues cannot be resolved after troubleshooting, the chain should no longer be used and is considered scrapped.
If any of the above conditions occur, the plate conveyor chain should be deemed scrapped and replaced promptly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
